We are a trading card startup searching for another trading card expert to join our team of collectors. We are building a new technology that will change the way collectors interact with their cards. Key Responsibilities
- Research and build TCG card checklists (Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! and all other major releases)
- Research the internet for set specifications for existing and new releases
- Curate a TCG card database with accuracy and precision
- Quickly correct any discovered errors and/or gaps in data
- Triage bug and error reporting to the appropriate internal resource
- Communicate effectively with collectors, hobby companies and our staff
- Communicate with leading trading card manufacturers
Who You Are
- Strong knowledge of all TCG card types produced since the 1990s
- Clear aptitude to understand the format of past, present and future card releases
- Strong research and cataloging skills in a digital and online environment
- Self starter who can operate without direct supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and suggest process improvement
- Effective problem-solving skills
- GED or equivalent education with a Bachelor's degree preferred
- Two years of experience in research or data analysis
- All successful candidates must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

Hourly Rate
The reasonable estimated hourly rate for this position is $18-$20. Actual compensation varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience and skill set. Estimated 20 to 40 hours per week.
